Referral Program questions

Any user on a Nigerian Simplebks business account. You do not need to be a paying customer, and the program is open on every plan, including Free. Open Refer & earn in your profile menu to get your code.

10% of every successful payment a referred business makes to Simplebks, worked out on the price without VAT.

For 12 months from the business's first payment. Payments made in that year earn you a reward. Payments after it do not. Changing plan does not restart the 12 months.

Yes. Every successful payment inside the 12 months earns 10%, whether it is a renewal, a plan change or the first payment.

Each reward is held for 30 days after its payment goes through, then moves to Available. You can withdraw once you have ₦5,000 available.

The reward for that payment is reversed. A partial refund reverses the same share of the reward. A chargeback reverses it too. If the reward has already moved to Available, the amount is taken back from your Available balance.

No. The program is for Nigerian businesses. A referred business must be Nigerian and pay in naira. A business that pays in dollars earns no reward, and it shows as Ineligible on your Refer & earn page.

No. You cannot earn a reward on a business you own or belong to, in any role.

Yes. Use 3 to 20 letters, numbers and hyphens. Codes are unique, so if yours is taken you pick another. You can change your code at any time. Businesses you have already referred stay credited to you.

The code has to be entered when the business signs up. A referral cannot be added afterwards.

On your Refer & earn page. It lists each business you referred, its status, when it first paid, when its renewal is due and when your 12 months end. It also shows every reward with the amount paid without VAT, your 10%, its status and the date it becomes available.
