Moving to Simplebks
You can bring across products and opening stock, contacts (with loyalty points, store credit and credit limits), past sales history as reference records, invoices and purchase orders from a spreadsheet, and opening balances on Professional and Enterprise. Can I move to Simplebks from my current point-of-sale system?
Yes. Export your data from the old system, then upload your products, opening stock, contacts and sales history to Simplebks with the bulk upload tools.
What can I import?
Products with opening stock, contacts, past sales history, invoices, purchase orders and opening balances. Some of these need the plan that includes the feature: product upload needs Basic or above, and variants, purchase orders and opening balances need Professional or Enterprise.
Will importing my old sales history change my accounts or stock?
No. Historical import brings past sales in as reference records. It does not post to your accounts, stock or bank.
Do my customers' loyalty points carry over?
Yes. A contact upload can carry loyalty points, store credit and credit limits.
Can Simplebks run several branches?
Yes, on Professional and Enterprise. Each branch has its own stock and reports into the same books.
