Stop answering "how much is this?" all day
A tablet link lets customers check prices on their own. A second screen shows the sale as it is rung up.

Set up

Open the settings
Go to Settings, then Sales & Stock Policies, then Customer price-check kiosk.

Generate a link
Each location can have its own link. Press Generate, or set a custom link.

Open it on the tablet
Open the link on the counter tablet. Customers scan or type a product to see its price and stock status. No staff login is needed.

Open the customer display
At the till, press Customer display to open the second screen.
Public links for your guests
Customers open these on their own phones. No login is needed.

Set up a QR menu

Build the menu
Go to Inventory, then QR menus, create a menu and publish it.

Print the code
Open the menu and download its QR code, then place it on tables or the counter.

Guests scan
Guests see the menu. With table service on Enterprise they can also place an order, follow it, see the bill and call a server.
Limits and known issues
- Replacing or editing a link rotates it: the old link stops working at once.
- Anyone with the link can see the price check page, so share it only on the device that needs it.
- A QR menu link is public by design. Unpublish the menu to stop it.
- A downgraded business can still view and revoke an active link but cannot generate new ones.
Security
What Simplebks stores and how you take it back.
- No customer data on the kiosk. It answers a price and stock status question for the products you hold.
- Revoke any time. Press Revoke on the location's link.
Not supported yet
- An API for the kiosk or the customer display.
FAQ
Does the kiosk need a login?
No. The link works without a staff login, so keep the link on the counter device.
Can each branch have its own link?
Yes. Every location can have its own link, and replacing one never affects another.
How do I stop a link working?
Press Revoke, Replace or edit the link. The old link stops at once.
Which plan do I need?
The Professional or Enterprise plan. Display ads need Enterprise.
